There are so few good surprises left in life when you get older... It's like "surprise you have cancer!"

I am proud to say that my cousin is expecting her second child. When I asked why she never wants to find out the sex before the baby is born this is what she said, " There are so few good surprises left in life when you get older... It's like "surprise you have cancer!" "
I laughed so hard... and then I realized... it's true.
*If Justin and I have a kid this made me want to wait to know if it is a boy or a girl!*

My parents waited. Well my mom did. My dad snuck back in the office and asked. He kept it a secret from my mom the whole pregancy. I think that is so sweet. So he knew when he hung the VW car poster over my changing table that I was a girl.... but he did it anyway.
